Jean F (Giunta) Manocchi

Rotterdam – Jean F. Manocchi, 77, passed away Tuesday September 7, 2021 at the Glendale Nursing Home. Born in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Carmelo and Palma Giunta. Jean graduated from St. Helena’s Business School and later moved to Schenectady with her husband in 1968. She worked for several local school districts as an administrative clerk before retiring from Mohonasen Central School district. Jean is survived by her husband Ronald of 54 years, two sons Richard J. (Patricia) Manocchi and Michael A. Manocchi; three granddaughters: Jordan, Ashley and Calli; her brother Peter (Corinne) Giunta; and three nieces: Carrie, Amy and Faith. Along with her parents, Jean was predeceased by her brother Richard Giunta. The family sends their sincere thanks to the professional staff at Glendale Nursing Home for the excellent care and friendship extended to Jean. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3-5 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m Monday at the Church of Immaculate Conception 400 Saratoga Rd., Glenville. Burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery.
