Janet P (Pelton) Noyes

Janet P. Noyes, 83, formerly of Niskayuna, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Born in Wellsville, NY, Janet was the daughter of the late LaRue M. and Nellie Irene Genung Pelton. Janet graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1951. She worked for several years in the executive payroll Dept. at General Electric. After raising her family, she was employed for several years at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home. Janet was a past member of East Glenville Community Church, Faith Baptist Church and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Janet was also predeceased by her brother Lynn M. Pelton. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold E. Noyes, four children; Larry E. (Kimberly) Noyes of Rotterdam, Deborah J. (Allen) Cromer of Conover, North Carolina, Karen S. (Vincent) Justus of Castleton, NY and Steven F. (Paula) Noyes of Williamsville, NY, her sisters; Elizabeth Callant of Ft. Wayne, IN, Delores Crawley of Arizona, and Helen Crounse of Altamont, sister in law Marge Pelton of Poughkeepsie, NY, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helder berg Ave. Funeral services will begin on Monday 10 am at the funeral home.
