Jamie L. Richmond

Jamie Lee Richmond, 48, passed away sudden and peacefully on Tuesday September 19th, 2023.

Jamie was born in Schenectady, NY. He lived a life most couldn’t survive. Growing up he loved playing basketball. He was great on the grill and loved dogs. He was also knowledgeable and knew a lot about cars as well. People knew him for his funny personality and his music. His specialty was making people laugh and would dance and keep everyone in good spirit. He was a person who didn’t care what others thought, unbothered and confident in his ways. He instilled that strength, confidence and love into his children. He made it important for his children to stick together. He was a family man all around including his brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles etc. His children and grandkids were most important to him in this world and he always expressed it.

Jamie was born to Judith and Thomas Richmond. He is survived by his children Breona Richmond, Britney Richmond, Kobe Richmond and grandchildren Shawn Anderson (Baby Shawn) and Evalena Abadia. As well as his beloved therapy dog Raina. He also leaves behind 6 brothers and a sister, extended family and endless friends.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday September 27th from 12 to 1pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. He will then be privately cremated. Condolences can be posted at demarcostonefuneralhome.com.
