Jamie E (Brown) Moore

Jamie E. Moore, 94, of Rotterdam, died at home on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Jamie was born in Lido, Virginia, the daughter of James and Maggie Lester Brown. She moved to Schenectady in 1953. Jamie was employed as an Aide at Bellevue Maternity Hospital in Niskayuna for 27 years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and cooking for her family. In addition to her parents, Jamie was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Moore, who died in 1990, and her daughter, Barbara Powers. She is survived by her son, James F. Moore of Rotterdam, two sisters; Shirley Quesenbury of Kentucky and Patsy Mazzone of Florida, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park in Colonie. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Schenectady City Mission, PO Box 760, Schenectady, NY, 12301.
