James H. Schuch

James H. Schuch, 94, of Schenectady, passed peacefully in the company of his loving family on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Jim was born in Dravosburg, Pennsylvania., the son of the late Frank and Anna Winklevoss Schuch. He served as an electrician in the Army during the Korean War and later in the standby reserve.
Jim enjoyed fishing, camping, trains and fixing everything. He was an excellent mechanic and was devoted
to his family. Jim is survived by his four children: Barry (Marian) Schuch of Guilderland, Tim (Sandy)
Schuch of Daytona Beach, Florida; Pam (Bob) Stump of Lodi, New Jersey and Lori (David) Meredith of
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania., 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jim was also predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Faye, and his siblings, Glenn
Schuch and Audrey Morey.
Burial will be private at Schenectady Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations may be made in Jim’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
