James L Evans

James L. Evans passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Born November 27, 1955 in Niskayuna, NY to Charles B. Evans and Jean A. Evans (Lyons). He grew up in Rotterdam, NY and attended Mohonasen High School. He was employed by Union College in the Maintenance Department and recently celebrated his 25 years there. He is survived by his son, Joshua Evans and his fiancé Faith Winne, as well as his mother Jean Evans, sister, Nancy (John) Hargraves, brother, Charles Evans, Nieces and Nephews; Laurie Rueter, Christopher (Michelle) Evans, Lisa (Jay) LaFond, Jason Evans, Rachel (David) Hargraves, and John Hargraves, and great nephews, Patrick McDonald, and Gabriel Evans. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Pam Eady and her daughter, Nicole and family. At James’ request, there will be no services.
