Jacob Francis Kibbe Sr.

ROTTERDAM - Jacob Francis Kibbe, Sr., 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 23, 2026. He was born on September 28, 1956 to the late Jacob H. Kibbe and Darlene Gee Cornish. He was raised in the Finger Lakes area. Jacob married MaryJo Howland and became a stay at home dad for his family. Jacob moved to the Rotterdam area in 2016 to be closer to his sons and grandchildren. In his later years, he attended Kee to Independent Growth in Clifton Park, where he enjoyed his time with his many friends. He liked drawing, sitting outside in the back yard, hanging out with his little buddy (Syre) and watching wrestling. Jacob will be remembered for caring/giving heart, funny jokes, love for his family and friends.

Jacob is survived by his children, Francis Kibbe (Amy), Holly Kibbe, Thomas Kibbe (Beatrice), Jacob Kibbe Jr. (Jennie), and his grandchildren (Sam, Kraigen, Kyler, Fallon, Lilly, Jazmyne, Cody, Carrie, Leland, and Keilani) and great grandchildren. (Wyatt and Ava Rose) He was also survived by his siblings, Myra Kibbe-Bundy, Dena Kibbe, Linda Carr Bieser, Vickie Carr Chase, Paul Dixon, Darla Dixon, and Lori Dixon-Dunning and predeceased by Reva Jean Carr and Paula Dixon.
