Isabella Vinciguerra, 94 of Rotterdam died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Baptist Health, Nursing & Rehabilitation in Scotia. Born in Buffalo, Isabella was the daughter of the late Francis and Maria DiRienzo. She was a graduate of the former Schenectady High School.Isabella worked as a cook and waitress at the former Towne Tavernin Rotterdam for 45 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, the Mt. Carmel Rosary Society, Mt. Carmel Women's Society and Mt. Carmel Seniors. In addition to her parents, Isabella was also predeceased by her beloved husband, William J. Vinciguerra, who died in 1971, three brothers, Carman Lombardi, Dominick Lombardi and Alexander DiRienzo and three sisters, Mary Lee Margiotta, Dolores Lombardi and Mary Lombardi. She is survived by her children, Rose Ann Maloney of Clifton Park and William F. (Loretta) Vinciguerra of Rotterdam, two sisters, Carmella Stipano of Rotterdam and Mary Anne Siviglia of Auburn, NY, six grandchildren; James A. (Sue) Maloney, Joyce (Nicholas) Pavelchak, Michael (Maria) Maloney, Norman (Angela) Moyer, Michelle (Paul) Moyer and Steven (Joanne) Vinciguerra,sevengreat- grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren. Isabella is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, 6-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 HelderbergAve. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, 8:15 am from the funeral home followed at 9 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Isabella's family would like to thank the staff on H-3 at Baptist Health, Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care and attentiveness of Isabella's needs, and also those of her family, during her time there. Memorial donations may be made to the Baptist Health, Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 297 Ballston Ave. Scotia, NY 12302 or to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY. 12110.
