Irene H (Garb) Maliszewski

Schenectady - Irene H. Maliszewski passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Born in Schenectady, NY she was the daughter of the late Charles Garve and Helen Elwertowski Garve. She was happily married to the late Leonard Maliszewski for 47 years. She is survived by her children; Kathleen (Jeffrey) Florell, Gary (Arlene) Maliszewski, Karen (Dan) Woodward, and Chris Maliszewski, her two loving grandsons whom she loved and adored; Matthew Florell and Ari Maliszewski, Sister-in-laws Mary and Shirley, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Irene is also predeceased by her brother, Carl Garb. Irene worked for many years as a Manager for Peter Harris clothing store and in her free time loved to watch the Mets play baseball on TV and her Grandson Matt play baseball. She also enjoyed Nascar and got to go to a race with her grandson, Ari. Services will be held privately by the family.
