Ines (Di Domenico) Roman

Rotterdam – Ines Roman, 93, passed away Friday July 2, 2021 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Frisanco, Italy she was the daughter of Dominic and Ida Beltrame Di Domenico. Ines came to the United States in 1946 and on November 20, 1947 married Victor Roman Sr. She will be remembered as centering her life around her family and making them her #1 priority. Her husband Victor passed away in 2002. She is survived by her two sons Anthony (Elizabeth) Roman and Victor (Annette Palk) Roman Jr. Two grandchildren Michael (Lynn) Roman and Andrea (Scott) Halbreiner. Five great grandchildren Aiden, Arianna, Noah, Emily and Lilianna. Ines is also survived by 2 nieces Donna Waddell, Lori Cancelliere and 1 nephew Louis Cancelliere Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sisters Elena Cancelliere and Maria Giacomelli and her grandson Matthew Roman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Thursday July 8th at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at St. Cyril’s Cemetery, Rotterdam. Memorial contributions may be made in Ines’ memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
