Ida A Cruickshank

Ida A. Cruickshank, 94, died on June 21, 2016 in Denton, Maryland. She was born in Schenectady, New York and received her education at Mont Pleasant High School.Ida was a secretary at Charlton Heights Elementary in Ballston Lake, N.Y. for 26 years.She was active in her church, Bellevue Gospel Chapel in Schenectady and very involved with missionary and international students.She had a heart for leading souls to Christ. She was the loving wife of James Cruickshank for 52 years who preceded her in death in 1997. Ida is survived by her three children, Daniel (Brenda) of West Chester, Ohio, Diane (George)Hill of Calgary, Alberta Canada, and David (Sue) of Denton, Maryland, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be at Bellevue Gospel Chapel, 2702 Guilderland Ave., in Schenectady at 1:30 to 2:15 and the funeral service immediately following on Wednesday, June 29.Interment will be at the Schenectady Memorial Cemetery.
