Herbert H Wiltsie

Herbert H. Wiltsie, 76, of Rotterdam, was born on October 7, 1941 and passed peacefully with his family by his side Monday morning, May 7, 2018. Herb loved his family and cherished his four granddaughters, he was a thoughtful, kind and an extremely giving man. He was retired from the NYS court system where he worked for over 40 years. He was an outdoorsman, an Army Veteran and a community volunteer. Herb is survived by his two sons, Robert Wiltsie, and his wife Lyn and Russell Wiltsie, and his wife Danielle, all from Ballston Spa, and his best friend and sister Doris Wiltsie of Rotterdam. He has four granddaughters whom he stayed very active with Jacquelyn, Julianna, Livia and Haley. Herb was predeceased by his loving wife JoAnne Casino, parents Earl and Helen and his older brother Earl. Calling hours will be held at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. in Rotterdam on Sunday from 4 to 6 PM. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Monday 11 am. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Schenectady.
