Henrietta (Predel) Zalucki

Henrietta Zalucki, 100, a lifelong Schenectady resident, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Baptist Health Nursing & Rehabilitation in Scotia. Born in Schenectady on June 1, 1914, Henrietta was the daughter of the late John and Mary Poltorak Predel. Henrietta was a member of the Church of the Church of St. Adalbert, as well as its Rosary Society. She was a homemaker, and a great mom! In addition to her parents, Henrietta was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph S. Zalucki who died in 1974, her brother; Stephen Predel, her sister Marion Predel and daughter in law LouAnn Zalucki. She is survived by her sons; Joseph (Virginia) Zalucki os Schenectady and John Zalucki of Ballston Lake, her brother in law; Casimer Zalucki, five grandchildren; Dr. James (Michelle) Zalucki of Ellicott City, MD., Robert (Kristi) Zalucki of Johannesburg, Africa, Richard Zalucki of Ballston Lake, Sandra (Mark) Dardenelli of Scotia, NY and Amy (Peter) Fontaine of Cincinnati, OH., and eight great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from4-7 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Monday at 8:15 am followed at 9 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St Adalbert. Burial will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
