Helmut Giesselmann

Rotterdam - Helmut Giesselmann, 92, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, and "Opa". He is survived by his sons, Reinhard (Jean) and Thomas (Dorene), and his granddaughter, Stephanie, who he was extremely proud of.He was predeceased by his wife Gisela, brother Ernst, and his sister, Lisa. He was founder/owner of Miscellaneous Iron Fabricators in Rotterdam from 1966 until his retirement. He loved planting a vegetable garden every spring, as well as caring for his flowers and fruit trees. He also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and squirrels that visited his yard. His best times were spent sitting at Canali's Restaurant, and playing the slot machines at the casino, with his son Reinhard. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
