Helena V (Tatro) Reedy

Helena V. Reedy, 87, of Rotterdam passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Pathways Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Niskayuna. Born in Mechanicville, NY, Helena was the daughter of Osa and Beatrice Bullis Tatro. She worked as a Senior Finger Print Analyst for the NYS Division of Criminal Justice and retired in 1986 after 25 years of service. Helena was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Schenectady, the Rotterdam Seniors and the Rotterdam Seniors Craft Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Reedy, who died in 2005. Helena is survived by her sister; Ann Durocher of Ballston Lake, her niece; Gail (John) Welter of Clifton Park, two great nieces; Laura Greenaway and Katharine Goot, as well as several cousins. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, 10-11 am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at St's Cyril & Method Cemetery.
