Helen M Ricciardi

Schenectady- Helen M. Ricciardi, formerly of Helderberg Ave, Passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home Guilderland on July 25, 2016. Helen was born in Schenectady on September 1, 1918 the daughter of the late Ignacious and Elizabeth Borowski. She attended Mont Pleasant Schools. A lifelong area resident Helen was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and was a member of the St. Theresa’s Guild for many years. She greatly enjoyed being a homemaker and enjoyed knitting and crocheting and traveling with her son Ralph. Helen is survived by her son Ralph Ricciardi of Scotia her daughter Linda (John) Barnett of Schenectady her grandchildren Greg (Lynn) Ricciardi of Schenectady, Craig (Noel) Ricciardi of Hobe Sound Florida, Christopher (Dina) Barnett of Schenectady and three great grandchildren Gabriella, Lucas and Addison. She was predeceased by great grandson, Nicholas. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave. Rotterdam on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church Schenectady. Interment will follow at St John’s Cemetery, Brandywine Ave. Schenectady. The family respectfully requests that memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Schenectady.
