Helen E (Deming) Haverly

Guilderland- Helen E. Haverly, 101, formerly of Shave Road Passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center. She was born Johnstown NY on August 27, 1914, a daughter of the late Herbert and Etta Getman Deming. Helen married her beloved husband Charles A. Haverly on April 10 1951. Charles passed away in 1992. Helen was employed as a machine operator at GE Schenectady for 31 years until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Guilderland Seniors and a member of the Guilderland Library Foundation. Her family loving remembers her as a devoted wife and aunt. Helen is survived by her niece Allene Slater of Florida and her nephew Fred Roth of Ancramdale NY and three devoted friends Sandra, Connie Fenton and Janice Zebrowski. Family and friends are invited to call at Guilderland's DeMarco Stone 5216 Western Turnpike Guilderland NY on Saturday February 6, 2016 from 9 am to 10 am. Immediately following funeral services will begin at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memory's Garden Albany Shaker Road Colonie NY.
