Hazel H. Hotaling, 88 of Schenectady, passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Born in Littleton, NH, Hazel was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Brooks Huntoon. She relocated to Schenectady in 1950 and worked as a waitress for over 30 years at the Ritz and Cornell's Restaurants. She later worked as the night supervisor in the kitchen at Sunnyview Hospital for 10 years and retired in 2002. In addition to her parents, Hazel was also predeceased by her beloved husband, George Hotaling who died in 1988. Hazel is survived by seven children; Beverly A.(Terry) Borawski of Schenectady, Richard "Butch"(Chris)Hotaling of Schenectady, Sandy (Ken)Ehrcke of Scotia, Linda Hotaling of Broadalbin, Barbara Hotaling of Schenectady, George (Allison)Hotaling Jr. of Broadalbin and Jeff (Julie)Hotaling of Rotterdam. She is also survived by her brother Charley (Marcie)Huntoon of Henderson, NV, 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday November 15th , 5 pm at Faith United Methodist Church, Corner of Brandywine Ave. and Eastern Ave. in Schenectady.
