Born in Schenectady, Guy was a graduate of Mohonasen High School and Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Guy loved golfing and had a passion for food and cooking. He enjoyed a good bottle of wine. A sports enthusiast, Guy was an avid Mets fan. Most recently, his favorite activity was spending time in the park with his daughter Kolette. Guy was the beloved son of Rose Famiano and the late Anthony Famiano; beloved step son of Diane Famiano; beloved husband of Nicole M. Famiano; loving father of Kolette Famiano; beloved brother of Kim (Dean) DeVito, Anthony (Joanne) Famiano, Renee (Tony) Mantello; beloved Uncle of Natalie and Breanna DeVito, Gabriel Mantello, Alexandra and Alyssa Famiano. A calling period will be held Sunday, June 15 from 4 to 7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A graveside service will be held at noon Monday, June 16, in St. Cyril Cemetery, Rotterdam.
