Gregory A Green

A bright, warm light was extinguished on Sunday, June 12, 2016 when Gregory A. Green left this world. Born in Schenectady on May 2, 1987 to Laurie A. Green, Greg was a bright, handsome young man. Though Greg's life span was a short one, he touched many people's lives profoundly, he had a kind and giving heart and was a sensitive and caring man. Greg was great with children and loved spending time with his God child and the many other children that flocked toward him everywhere he went.He enjoyed sports, fishing, snowboarding and treasured spending time with those whom he held closest to his heart. Greg is survived by his Mother, Laurie A. Green, his Grandfather, John W. Green, his Aunt Holly J. Green, and two Uncles, Allen K. Green and Christopher E. St. John.He is also survived by several cousins, a God daughter, and numerous close friends.Greg was predeceased by his maternal Grandmother, Karen M. Scholz (Wiley). A service for Greg will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, located at 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam.There will be a visitation hour held prior to the service from 1PM to 2PM.
