Giuseppe Michele Audi

Giuseppe Michele’ Audi, 86, of Rotterdam, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Giuseppe was born and raised in Squille, Caserta, Italy. He immigrated to the United States in 1966 and was employed by the General Electric Co. working at the Schenectady plant 273 and later retired from the R&D in Niskayuna after 26 years of service. Giuseppe was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for many years. He enjoyed gardening, making wine and most of all spending time with his family. Giuseppe was predeceased by his parents Michele’ and Maria Natale Audi and his siblings; Concetta, Arcangelo, Vincenza, Pietro and Domenico. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Maria Viscusi Audi, two devoted daughters; Maria (Salvatore) Mancino of Rotterdam and Adele (the late Angelo) Rossi of Guilderland, his sister; Argentina Mezza of Italy, six grandchildren; Antonietta, Laura, Annamaria, Angelo, Antonio and Alissa and six great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 12:30 pm. to 2:30 p.m, at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral Services will begin at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Schenectady Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice for their care and assistance during his illness.
