Gilbert J. Willsey

Gilbert J. Willsey, 80, passed away on Sunday November 17, 2024. Born in Cohoes he was the son of Leon and Mary (Comi) Willsey. Gilbert grew up in Cohoes and graduated from Cohoes High School. His entire career was in clothing sales retiring from Burlington Coat Factory.

He is survived by his wife Donna (Pasquarell) Willsey whom he married on June 15, 1968.

His daughter Kimberly (Michael) Capoccia.

His grandchildren Michaella and Luciano.

His brother Joseph (Gail) Willsey.

He also leaves behind Lisa (Martin) Becker.

Along with his parents Gilbert was predeceased by his brother Patrick.

Special thanks go to the Willsey family, Lewis & Linda Elia, Linda & Michael Duffy, the “H4” group that never left Donna’s side, Doreen, Nancy, Linda & Kathy for their support & love and the staff at Eddy Senior Care in Rotterdam.

A private memorial service will be held for Gilbert.
