Geraldine C (Zych) Facci

Glenville – Geraldine C. Facci, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 at Ellis Hospital. Geraldine was born in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Matthew and Catherine (Krzysko) Zych. For over 25 years, Geraldine worked as an activities coordinator at Hallmark Nursing Home. Geraldine was a former member of the Red Hat Society, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and a current member of a local rosary group. She enjoyed socializing with her friends and hosting parties. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Christopher, daughter in law Kerrie (Martin) Facci, her grandchildren, Caitlin and Nathan and her twin brother, Gerard Zych as well as her nephews, Robert and Thomas Zych, their families and many lifelong friends. Calling hours will take place on Monday, June 25th from 5-7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday morning at 10:30am at the funeral home and will be followed by a funeral mass at 11am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant Street in Schenectady. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Amsterdam.
