Gerald "Jerry" N Maxon Jr

Rotterdam – Gerald “Jerry” N. Maxon Jr., 59, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, January 12th 2017 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, Jerry was the son of the late Marylou (Stone) and Gerald Maxon Sr. Jerry worked for many years as a bus driver for Brown Transportation. He was a diehard NY Giants fan and loved fishing, bowling and reading Sci-Fi novels. Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory the love of his life, his wife of 26 ½ years, Tammy (Polanski) Maxon, his sisters, Melody Watson and Denise Betts (Steve), and his beloved K-9 companions, Holly and Cookey as well as several nieces and nephews. At Jerry’s request, there will be no services. Memorial contributions in Jerry’s name can be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302.
