Gerald (Jerry) Charles Lynch
Rotterdam - Jerry C. Lynch, 95, of Wellington Avenue, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025.
He was born in Schenectady on June 27, 1930 and was a graduate of the former Draper High School and attended Siena College. Jerry worked for General Electric Company in Schenectady in the Microwave Tube Department for 44 years.
Jerry was a parishioner of the former Immaculate Conception Church, Schenectady. He served multiple positions in the Rotterdam Elks, Boy Scouts of America, and Rotterdam Little League. He was active in both the Rotterdam and Rotterdam Junction Senior Citizens.
Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Sally D. Lynch of 59 wonderful years; parents, Jerry and Christine Lynch; brother, Daniel Lynch; sister, Ann Sturges; and grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Lynch.
He is survived by their four children, Sharon (Donald) Wemple of Rotterdam, Michael Lynch of West Columbia, Texas, Jerry (Mireya) Lynch of Scotia and Kathi (Michael) Perrotte of Magnolia, Texas. Jerry had six grandchildren. Christopher (Kerrie) Rafalik, Matthew Rafalik, Matthew Lynch, Michael (Sarah) Perrotte, Nikole Simpson, and Kristyn Perrotte. He also had thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry loved to be with his family and had many wonderful years traveling either by camping across the U.S. or on a cruise ship with the love of his life, Sally.
Calling hours, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Heldeberg Avenue, Schenectady. Funeral services will be immediately after. Interment will be in Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery, Rotterdam
