Gerald A Bouleris

Schenectady- Gerald Albert Bouleris , 71 Passed away after a long illness at Ellis Hospital On February 22, 2017. He was born in Troy NY a son of the late Albert and Mary McClelland Bouleris. Jerry was employed at the Honeywell Corporation (Bendix) in Green Island for thirty years until retirement. Jerry enjoyed fishing, swimming and bowling. Along with his wife Gloria, they enjoyed many family gatherings with their children over the years. They also enjoyed traveling with friends on cruises and spent enjoyable times with relatives in Florida. Jerry is survived by his children Cynthia (Peter) Countryman of Schenectady and Jeffrey (Deb Jankowski) Bouleris of Houston Texas. He has three granddaughters that were the apple of his eye, Brittany, Kaitlynn and Jocelyn Countryman of Schenectady. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jerry also leaves behind his sister, Marva, Sr. Maria Bouleris, CSJ of Latham Jerry was predeceased by his wife of 46 years Gloria (Leffingwell) Bouleris. Family and friends are invite to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Sunday February 26, 2017 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 am at the funeral home on Monday February 27, 2017. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St Madeleine Sophie Church Carmen Road Schenectady. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations may be made to The Community Hospice of Schenectady and /or the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Ingersoll Place for the wonderful care and support that Jerry received. He absolutely loved his residency there and all the kind people he met.
