Scotia - Georgia Ellyn Schiermeier, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend was called to heaven suddenly on November 14, 2020 at Ellis Hospital. Georgia was born in Schenectady NY and was a graduate of Draper High School and earned her Associates degree in Business Administration from Schenectady Community College before working as a paraprofessional with the Duanesburg Central School district where she was employed for over 7 years. Georgia now joins her father Anthony Dagostino in eternal life and will be forever missed by her mother, Georgia (Manning) Dagostino of Schenectady, two children: Melissa O’Clair of Schenectady and Anthony O’Clair of Arizona, her loving companion; William (Sonny) Dudley, sister Toni (John) Zullo of Hyde Park NY and three grandchildren; Javar Tillman, Maurice Tillman, and Anthony O’Clair, jr.and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Georgia enjoyed spending time with her loving companion Sonny. They liked spending time together at many of the local Casino’s and playing cards with their friends. Georgia was also a big fan of the Young and the Restless and Donny and Marie Osmond finding time several times throughout her life to see them perform in person. When she wasn’t spending time with Sonny you could find Georgia playing games on her computer or watching movies on TV. Georgia enjoyed her Friday nights league bowling at Sportsman’s Bowl. As a former Girl Scout and camp counselor, Georgia liked to take her children camping in the Adirondacks when they were younger and loved Theme Parks and working on Arts and Craft projects. She was also a Folk guitarist at Immaculate Conception School and Church in her earlier years. As an animal lover Georgia also had many dogs and cats though out the years. Funeral services will be announced at a later date when it is safe to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in the memory of Georgia to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
