Frank Viscusi June 26, 1937 – November 12, 2017 Frank Viscusi of Princetown, New York entered the Gates of Heaven to be with his Lord on November 12, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Squille, Italy on June 26, 1937. Frank is the beloved husband to Maria Viscusi who he adored and created many wonderful memories with for over 60 years. He served as a role model to his family for the way he lived his life with high morals, respect for all, and a strong work ethic. During his younger years in Italy, Frank was a mason who then immigrated to America in 1956 and continued that career as he enjoyed working with his hands. He worked for various companies in the field of construction and New York State as a mason/plasterer where he retired after twenty years. He was a proud member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union. Frank gave back to his community by serving as a volunteer fireman for Pine Grove Fire Department, he was a loyal parishioner, usher and Festa volunteer at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, and a member of the Rotterdam Gabriele D’Annunzio Sons of Italy Lodge and Rotterdam Elks Lodge. Frank enjoyed a full and joyful life, always smiling and laughing. He especially cherished spending time with his family who meant the world to him. He had a passion for playing bocce, traveling, and especially enjoyed spending time in Florida where he could be near the ocean. His ability for creating memories for everyone that knew him has been a gift. Frank was predeceased by his beloved daughter, MaryLee Viscusi Caster, parents, Zelindo and Clelia Viscusi; parent-in-laws, Francesco and Maria Grazia Campagnano; his brothers, Carlo Viscusi, Antonio Viscusi, and Bernardino Viscusi; and brother-in-laws, Adolfo Campagnano and Francesco Campagnano. Relatives of Frank that celebrate his life are: devoted wife, Maria Viscusi; sons who he was an inspiration and mentor to, Zelindo (Lorella), Dino (Lisa), and Rico (Chrissy); son-in-law, Fred Caster; grandchildren who he treasured, Nicolette, Zaccari, Brandon, Nikolas, Franco, Doniella, Gianna, Luke and Ava; sister, Arcangela, brother, Renato (Giustina), sister, Beatrice (Antonio), sister-in-laws, Filomena, Angela, Maria and Brigida and brother-in-laws, Michele (Giulia) and Carlo (Lucia), as well as many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, godchildren and cousins. Visitation hours will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, immediately followed by a Mass celebrating Frank’s life. Interment will take place at St. Cyril & Method Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Frank’s wishes were for family and friends to make memorial contributions in his name to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Road, Schenectady, New York 12306.
