For over 20 years, Frank resided at Schenectady ARC’s Minard House and attended Princetown Ridge day program. Frank Stuart was a grumpy man. No, seriously. He was. Almost all the time! But it was endearing. His facial expressions; his verbalization that he was unhappy; we all knew them well. And we tripped over each other trying to help him feel better; even if it meant DVD’s that we may not have appreciated, but Frank certainly did. Frank was clearly his own man. We accommodated him. Minard was HIS house; we were just lucky enough to be here. Frank was such a flirt; those big blue eyes... We all worked to keep him as happy and comfortable as he could be this last year. And I truly believe that he was. Frank was an amazing man. He touched our hearts, and made us smile. Today, we cried over him and said good bye. Frank is at peace now; and we have to be, too, in knowing he suffers no more. A calling hour will be held Friday September 16th from 10-11 am at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A prayer service will begin at 11 am.
