Rotterdam - Frank J. Ralbovsky, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 28, 2015 after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of John and Ludmilla Sefcovic Ralbovsky.Frank served our country during World War II I the Army Air Corps assigned to the 123rd Army Air Force Unit. Following his military service he went on to the large turbine division of the General Electric Co. retiring with more than 40 years of service. Frank was fond of big band music and bus trips. He also loved to ride his bicycle through his neighborhood and on local bike trails. Frank was a big fan of the New York Yankees and the Indianapolis Colts. His wife of 57 years, Adela, passed away in 2010. He is survived by his daughter; Gail Marie Ralbovsky. Along with his parents, Frank was predeceased by his son, Glenn (1962); his 3 brothers, Joseph, John and William Ralbovsky; his 4 sisters, Mary Jankowski, Anna Boisvert, Helen Baluch and Betty Ferris. A calling hour will be held Monday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Madeleine Sophie Church 3500 Carman Rd., Guilderland. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Cyril's Cemetery, Rotterdam.
