Frank N Parisi

Rotterdam - Frank N. Parisi, 83, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at home, surrounded by his devoted and loving family. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of James and Mary Tomaso Parisi. Frank graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1950 and went on to attend Union College.Frank received his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School.He was admitted to the New York State Bar on October 17, 1957.He was engaged in the private practice of law from 1957 until the recent onset of his illness.He was also a Schenectady County Assistant District Attorney from 1962 to 1965. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilyn D. Campriello Parisi, whom he married on September 20, 1959, as well as his three sons Adam G. (Christine) Parisi, Matthew G. (Laura) Parisi and Gerard F. (Nicole) Parisi. He was the proud grandfather of Andrew, Aaron, Christopher, Sarah, Thomas, Gabriella, Mia, Frank, Nicholas, Lucas and Samuel. He is also survived by his two sisters: Annette (Darryl) Botsford and Diana (Richard) Ippolito, his sister-in-law Donna Parisi, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank was predeceased by his brother James Parisi and infant sister Marie Angela Parisi. Calling hours will be held Thursday (today) from 4-7 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 806 Union St., Schenectady. Burial will follow at St. Cyril's Cemetery, Rotterdam. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Fr. Richard Carlino, and to Frank's caregivers Hope from Community Hospice of Schenectady and his special niece Rachel A. Gold.
