Frank L. Marro

Schenectady – Frank L. Marro, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 2, 2026. Born in Schenectady he was the son of Frank J. and Virginia (Suriano) Marro. A graduate of Linton High School Frank went on to work many years for the City of Schenectady before retiring. He cherished his many friends and valued those friendships greatly. They gave him much joy. Frank liked betting on the Saratoga harness horses, enjoying the casino, coaching at Northside little league or going to Jack Baker’s at the Jersey Shore to mention a few. Most of all Frank will be remembered for the love of his family.

He is survived by his wife Debora.

Brothers-in-law Bob and Scott Vogel.

Nephews Joseph Marro, Robert and Tyler Vogel.

Nieces Jennifer Marro Lieber, Jennifer Vogel Rossi, Brittany and Taylor Vogel.

Frank is also survived by a great niece, two Lieber great nephews, many Marro cousins along with all his great friends from the neighborhood.

Along with his parents Frank was predeceased by his brother Joe Marro and his aunt Mary Marro.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday June 10th from 1-4pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam.

A 4 pm prayer service offered Rev. Matthew H. Frisoni will immediately follow.
