Escondido, CA-Mr. Francis M. Robinson, age 85, of Escondido, CA, formerly of Albany and Rotterdam, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Tues. afternoon, April 7, 2015 at the home of his daughter, Darlene Walsh in California. He was born on August 20, 1929 in Albany, son of the late Francis and Rosalie (Garah) Robinson and educated in Albany schools.He last employed as a Dye Mechanic with BASF, serving with the company for 45 years.He was united in marriage with his wife Doris on September 8, 1953 at Sacred Heart Church, Albany, who preceded him in death on Dec. 21, 2010.Francis served with the Army National Guard for eight years.For the past 3 years he had been residing with his daughter and family in California. Survivors includehis children, Darlene Walsh and husband Thomas of Escondido, CA; a twin brother, James Robinson of Spanaway, Washington; daughter in law, Nancy Robinson; grandchildren, Matthew, James and Christopher Robinson, Bevin, Meghan, and Patrick Walsh; a great grandson, Cody James Robinson; and nieces, Holly and Hillary.He was preceded in death by his wife Doris and son, Edward.
