Frances Dicarlo (Pezzano) Younger

Schenectady - Frances (Pezzano) DiCarlo Younger, 93, passed away Tuesday January 6, 2015 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center. Born in Schenectady, Frances was the daughter of the late James and Raffaela Cosenzia Pezzano. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest DiCarlo (1993) and her second husband, Cousby Younger (2012). She was also predeceased by her siblings, Catherine, Rose, Vincenzina, Fred, Bruno, Mary and Lenora Pezzano, Angelina LaMalfa and Evelyn DeFelice. She is survived by her nieces, Antonia (Terry) Burke, Carol DeFelice, Patricia (Nicholas) Barber, Arlene Parisi, Nettie (Dan) Smeaton and Elaine (Peter) Palleschi and nephews, Anthony (Annette) DeFelice, Robert Pezzano, Richard (Patricia) Pezzano and Anthony DiJohn along with several grandnieces, grandnephews and great great nieces and nephews. Frances is also survived by her sister-in-law, Betty (Charles) Pirkle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church. A calling hour, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. will precede the Mass at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Entombment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
