Florence L (Celmer) Kwiatkowski

Scotia – Florence L. Kwiatkowski, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018. Florence was born in Amsterdam, NY to her parents, the late Leon Celmer and late Catherine (Barscz) Celmer. She was a draftsman at the General Electric Company for many years until her retirement. Florence also spent many years volunteering at Glendale Nursing Home in Glenville. Florence is predeceased by one daughter, Anya Yates, her grandchildren, Elena and William Yates and her brother, Eugene Celmer. She is survived by her daughter, Susan E. Whipple (Keith) of Guilderland as well as several nieces and nephews. A visitation hour will take place on Friday, October 12th from 9:45-10:45am at St. Stanislaus Church, 50 Cornell St., Amsterdam, NY 12010. A funeral mass honoring Florence and her husband, William will begin 11am at the church. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Amsterdam.
