Eugene Czyzewski

Eugene (Gene) Czyzewski, 72, passed away on Saturday April 26, 2025 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. He was born on February 28, 1953 to the late John and Winifred Czyzewski. Gene worked as a stockkeeper briefly for Carl Co. and then long term for General Electric Co. In the 1960’s and 1970’s, he played many table-tennis tournaments. Gene loved cooking, walking and hiking, collecting comics, and especially loved spending time with his family and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his three siblings.

Gene is survived by his wife of 39 yrs, his two children, his one cousin, his six 3 nieces, his one nephew, and several great-nieces & nephews.

Gene has been privately cremated. Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday May 10th from 3 to 5pm at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, followed by a memorial service at 5pm.
