Esther C Pagano

Rotterdam- Esther C. Pagano, 87, at rest Tuesday September 30, 2014. Born in Schenectady, Esther was the daughter of the late Rev. Salvatore and Antonette Riggi. She retired from the General Electric Co. with many years service. Esther had a big heart and dearly loved and was dedicated to her family and The Lord. She was the beloved mother of Esther (Edward) Orphanidis; loving grandmother of Toni (John) Fretto; doting great-grandmother of Jonathon and Tyler Fretto; beloved sister of Madlyn (Gary) Salamone and the late James and Dominick Riggi, Margaret Blond and Ruth Schottenham. Esther is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were previously held and Esther was interred in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady. Esther's family wishes to especially thank Esther's niece, Lisa Voris, for her loving attention to her aunt and the Staff of Ellis Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of Esther.
