Emiliana Cortella

Rotterdam-Emilina Cortella, 79, passed away at Ellis Hospital on December 12 2013 after a brief illness. She was born Chietti Italy a daughter of the late Ugenio and Camilla Bevilaqua Dinnocenzo. She came to the United Sates in the 1970s. For many years she was employed at General Electric in the house keeping dept.Her family lovingly remembers her as a devoted wife mother and grandmother . She enjoyedspending time with her garden. She was a communicant of St Gabriel's Church. Emilian is survived by her husband Albertowhom she married in April of 1958in Italy .Her sons Dominick Cortella of Rotterdam and Walter (Lynn) Cortella of Schenectady her grandchildren Jonathan and Jennifer Cortella ofRotterdam and Renata and Robert Cortella of Schenectady. And two Sisters Vincenza Michetti of Rotterdam and Julia of Itlay. She is also survived by two nieces in Italy and two nieces and a nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Gabriel's Church Tuesday December 17 2013 at 10 am. Interment will be in St Joseph's Cemetery Schenectady.
