Elizabeth (Segatto) Petrucco

Rotterdam- Elizabeth Petrucco, 88, at rest Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Elizabeth was born in Fanna, Province of Pordenone, Italy, the daughter of the late Giovanni and Maria (Bortolin) Segatto. She immigrated to this country in 1949. A homemaker, Elizabeth enjoyed life. She loved to garden, cook, dancing and the music of Friuli, the region where she grew up. She was the beloved wife of 61 years to the late Luigi A. Petrucco who died in 2009; beloved mother of Henry "Rico" and his wife Dotty Petrucco of Lakeland, FL.; Anna Maria Petrucco of Rotterdam, John and his wife Karen Petrucco of Guilderland and the late Luisa Petrucco Garofallou; doting grandmother of Derek Garofallou of Lompoc, CA. Mario Petrucco andNicholas Petrucco, both of Schenectady, Enrico Petrucco of Reading,England; beloved sister of Teresa Segatto and Mario Segatto, both of Fanna, Italy and John Segatto of Schenectady and the late Lino Segatto and Noemi Segatto. Elizabeth is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Friday June 14, from 6 to 8pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, Rotterdam. A funeral service will be held Saturday 10am at the funeral home, the Rev. James Belogi officiating. Burial will follow in St. Cyril/Methodius Cemetery.
