Elizabeth A (Becca) Hofmann

Rotterdam - Elizabeth A. Hofmann, 95, passed away on Monday January 4, 2016. She was born and educated in Bellaire, Ohio. Elizabeth then went on to join the United States Army serving during WWII in the Women's Army Corps. Elizabeth was active in church and was an avid bridge player and enjoyed travelling with her children. She retired from Ellis Hospital as a laboratory technician. Her husband, John G. Hofmann, died in 1961. She is survived by her son, John G. Hofmann III and his wife Donna of New Hampshire and her daughter, Susan Hofmann Folus and her husband Paul of Niskayuna. Elizabeth is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.
