Elizabeth K. Cribbs, 98 of Duanesburg, died peacefully at Ellis Residential & Rehabilitation Center in Schenecatdy on Sunday, September 22, 2013.Born in Saddle River, NJ, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late James and Mary McGraw Burke. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and the Altar and Rosary Society's at the church.A homemaker, Elizabeth enjoyed playing bridge and was a poll worker for many years with the Schenectady Co. Board of Elections. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur Cribbs, who died in 2001, her son Martin Cribbs who died in Viet Nam in 1969, her sister, Florence Flynn, son in law, Ronald Horwedel and great granddaughter, Alexandria Kowalczyk. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Ann (Sal) Esperti of Scotia, Helen Horwedel of Princetown, Pauline (George) Kowalczyk of Taneytown, MD., Rita (Ken) LaBelle of Duanesburg and Bernice Parillo of Orange CA. Elizabeth is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 11 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd, in Rotterdam.Elizabeth's family will be at the church at the church at 10 am to receive condolences. Burial will follow at St's Cyril & Method Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Spina Bifida Association of Northeastern New York, 123 Saratoga Rd., Scotia NY, 12302 or to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd. Schenectady, NY 12306.
