Elaine Ann (Janack) Tucceri

Niskayuna - Elaine Ann Tucceri, of Niskayuna, NY, peacefully passed away in her sleep on May 25, 2021, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY after a long battle with cancer. Elaine was born in Schenectady, NY on July 17, 1950, to Robert and Genevieve Janack. A 1968 graduate from Mohonasen High School, Elaine eventually went on to start her 25-year career at General Electric as an accounting analyst before moving on to a career in real estate and then insurance. While raising three children with her husband,Elaine continued her education and received her Associate's degree from Schenectady County Community College. When Elaine wasn’t working or taking care of her family, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, bowling, playing poker, gardening, cooking, traveling, relaxing by the family pool, and a nice glass of wine. Elaine is survived by her husband, Robert, her son Michael and his husband Chris; her daughter Elisa; her grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, and Alivia; her brother Jim and his wife Sharon; and five nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her son Daniel, her nephew Peter, and her sister Yvonne. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. EDT at DeMarco Stone Funeral Home in Rotterdam. There will also be a Zoom link available for those who are unable to make it in person. A special thank you to all of Elaine’s family, friends, and acquaintances that have brought her so much joy and the nurses and staff at St. Peters Hospital for providing tremendous care and comfort.
