Edward V Kwiatkowski

Schenectady – Edward Kwiatkowski, age 92, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021. A lifelong area resident, Ed was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late Francis and Anne (Lubrant) Kwiatkowski. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and had a 35 year career at the General Electric Company, working his way up to electrician. In Ed’s younger years he was an avid bowler and dart player, often playing at the Polish American Club in Schenectady. He loved to dance with his wife, Florence, do crossword puzzles, visit casinos and travel to Wildwood Crest, NJ for family vacations. Ed was a happy and fun-loving guy who loved to joke and above all else spend time with his family. Ed was predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Florence Polinski Kwiatkowski, his daughter, Linda Lunow and his six sisters and one brother. He leaves behind his children, Robert Kwiatkowski (Deb DiRienzi), Margaret Maryea and Paul Kwiatkowski; grandchildren, Joel Kwiatkowski, Robert Kwiatkowski Jr., Michael J. Kwiatkowski, Anne Marie Kwiatkowski, Emily Kwiatkowski, Michael Kwiatkowski, Jennifer Santabarbara, Kathy Maye, Vincenzo DiIanne and Valentina DiIanne as well as 14great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 8th at 10 am at the Church of St. Adalbert, 550 Lansing St., Schenectady. Burial will follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.
