Edward S Grabicki

Edward S. Grabicki, 95 of Rotterdam died at home on Saturday, June 27, 2015. A lifelong Schenectady resident, Edward graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1938. He worked in the payroll department at the former ALCO and later at FINSERV Computer. Edward was a hardworking and generous man. He was a member of the ALCO Bowling League and served as league secretary, he enjoyed reading the NY Post and keeping up with sports on TV and in the newspaper. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Pearl Laskowska Grabicki and three brothers, Joseph Grabicki, Adam Grabicki and Walter Grabicki. He is survived by his sister, Genevieve (Henry) Fornal of Rotterdam, his devoted niece Karen (Roger) Peterson of East Greenbush and devoted nephew Martin (Deborah) Fornal of Ballston Spa, his great nephew, Lucas Fornal and good friends, Michael and Rita Wojnar. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 am at The Church of St.Adalbert, 550 Lansing St. followed at 11 by a Mass of Christian Burial at the church.
