Schenectady - E. Audrey Roberts, passed on January 13, 2016 at Capital Living Care with her family and friends present. Audrey was born on March 26, 1919 in Talsaruau; N. Wales UK.She was the daughter of Catherine E. And William H. Jones. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Cecil Norman Jones and John Kenneth Jones and husband Garonowy Roberts. She worked as manager at Loft's Candy Store Schenectady and StuyvesentPlaza. She became a nurse's aide for the Red Cross. Audrey loved her family, music, dancing, flowers ,shopping, animals and gardening. Her love of her birth country was immense along with its music and poetry which she could still recite beautifully. Audrey is survived by her daughter Margaret Roberts Alesio. Her grandchildren, Christopher (Elizabeth Frank Alesio) and Craig Alesio. Great grandchildren Logan, Olivia, Christopher, Alex, Catherine and Dylan allof Rotterdam. She was predeceased by her son in law Carl R. Alesio and grandson Carl R. Alesio (Karen Grady Alesio) Special thanks to Bob Alesio, Colleen Hart, and Olwen Wheeler for their kindness to Audrey.
