E Marie Purtell

E. Marie Purtell, 96, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Marie was the daughter of the late Harry and Edna Churchill Jackson and was a graduate of Draper High School. She was employed for several years at the General Electric Co. during WWII. Marie was also predeceased by her husband, William F. Purtell, who died in 1983. She is survived by her children; Dennis R. (Donna) Purtell of Lebanon, TN. and Cathy M. (Victor) Falcone of Guilderland, Grandchildren; Richard G. (Carrie) Falcone and Brandi M. Falcone, several great grandchildren, her sister; Alice Fronk, of Fulton, NY and nephews; Gary (Marygrace) Fronk and Kevin (Elise) Fronk. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Schenectady Memorial Park Cemetery in Rotterdam. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s, 315 South Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12205.
