Dorothy M (Duszynski) Bubb

Guilderland – Dorothy M. Bubb, 87, passed away on Friday August 25, 2017 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of John and Agnes Duszynski. A lifelong Schenectady area resident, Dorothy attended Mt. Pleasant High School and then worked for many years at Kmart in Rotterdam. Dorothy will be remembered as a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. Her husband, Philip Bubb, passed away in 2015. She is survived by her 2 sons; Philip F. Bubb III (Darlene) of Troy and Peter Bubb (Patricia Marx) of Rotterdam. Dorothy is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son, Paul Bubb (2015) and 3 sisters; Jane Klak, Sophie Field and Stella Mazur. A prayer service will be held 11 am Wednesday at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A visiting hour will precede the service from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Adalbert’s cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
