Schenectady - Dominick DiNola, 95, at rest on Wednesday April 29, 2015. Dominick was born in Naples, Italy, the son of the late Biagio and Angela Maria DiNola. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. Dominick was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and was involved in the annual church festa for many years. Dominick was an Intelligence Specialist with the Navy stationed in Key West, FL. Dominick was a letter carrier for 35 years and a part time barber for 45 years. Dominick was the beloved husband of over 70 years to the late Virginia DiNola; beloved father of Thomas DiNola and his wife, Donna of Henderson, NV, Robert DiNola and his wife, Carlin of Rotterdam, NY, Ronald DiNola and his fiancé', Adel Canfield, of Palm City, FL; loving grandfather of Michael DiNola of Henderson, NV, Daniel, Rickey and Rachel DiNola, all of Rotterdam; beloved brother of Mary Leone of Schenectady and the late Philip DiNola, Angelo DiNola and Mary DiNola; Brother-in-law of Sam Leone of Schenectady, Antoinette DiNola of Ballston Lake, Rose Cotugno of Rotterdam and the late Marie Mauriello. Dominick is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A calling period will be held Sunday May 3, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. All are invited to a Monday 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Schenectady. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Brandywine Ave., Schenectady. Dominick's family wishes to give special thanks to Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, especially the Guadalupe staff for their kind care of Dominick.
