Domenico Mastroianni

Schenectady – Domenico Mastroianni, 66, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sora, Frosinone, Italy on December 1, 1949, He was the son of Pasquale and Lidia Palleschi Mastroianni. Domenico served in the Italian Army and came to America in April 1972. He worked for many years with Febreno Construction retiring in 2014. He loved to fish and hunt and belonged to the Rotterdam Soccer Club and Sons of Italy. Domenico worshipped at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. He is survived by his six siblings; Concetta Cianfarani of Schenectady, Angela (Anthony) Lanaro of Schenectady, Rosina (Antonio) Ascione of Italy, Nicola (Luisa) Mastroianni of Schenectady, Rita (Loreto) Vani of Italy and Marisa (Jay) Krupanich of Schenectady. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his godchild, Pasquale Mastroianni. The family extends their thanks to Schenectady Hospice and Dr. Bong Yee for all your support & care. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4-6 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 8:45 am Monday followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Burial will follow at Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery.
