Diane J (Schulenburg) Siler

Diane J. Siler, 71, of Niskayuna, passed away at home on Monday, October 12, 2015. Diane was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Paul and Izora Dygert Schulenburg. She graduated from Niskayuna High School in 1961. Diane continued her education at Hudson Valley Community College and became a licensed Dental Hygienist. She was employed at several dental offices and retired from Breault & McGovern, DDS in Schenectady. One of the things Diane enjoyed the most was her monthly luncheons with the" Valley Girls". In addition to her parents, Diane was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 25 years, Pierce R. Siler and her step- son, Scott Siler. Diane is survived by her son, Elliott Bond (Darcy) of Paris, TN, her step- daughter, Sharon Turcotte (Ernie) of Mechanicville, her step- daughter in law; Cris Siler, four grandchildren; Markee Garner (Jamie) of Lexington, TN, Justin , Hunterand Izora Bond, four step- grandchildren;Todd Turcotte (Abby) of Cohoes, Tanya Buechner (Eric) of Mechanicville and Nicole and Jason Siler of MA,four great grandchildren; Bailey, Kendall, Siler and Ryan, two brothers; Paul Schulenburg(Pharr) of Cape Cod, MA. and Neil Schulenburg (Kathryn) of Brunswick, GA., a niece; Leah Schulenburg, nephews; David Schulenburg and Matthew Schulenburg (Leah), great niece; Liliana and great nephews; Solomon and Alex. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10 am to 12 noon at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home.
